Michael Baroch

Founder & Director

As the Founder of the Melbourne International Tennis School based in Australia, Michael began his tennis journey under the tuition of Tony Roache – one of the world’s greatest tennis coaches and former coach of Roger Federer.

Michael has a very successful coaching career himself as he coached former World No. 1 Maria Sharapova and Mark Philippoussis just to name a few.

After establishing MITS Australia, Michael expanded the MITS brand into Asia with training bases in Singapore. Michael considers that Laos has the potential to match it with the best in Asia, which is why MITS Laos is establish today.

Alan Vuong

Director of Coaching

MITS Laos Director of Coaching Alan Vuong’s tennis transition from player to coach has been one to be proud of. Alan has traveled around the world with individual players (ITF, ATP) and National teams (Davis Cup, SEA Games).

Coach Alan prides himself for individuals to reach their goals no matter how big or small, as he believes that hard work and dedication will always overcome raw talent itself.

Coach Alan look’s forward to keep your tennis on track, with a positive and fun approach, ensuring you to take your game to the next level.

Coach DJ

Assistant Head Coach

Known as Coach DJ, Kiaiy is one of MITS Laos’s most experienced coaches. His personality and coaching style will sure to make you fall in love with the game. Don’t let the fun side fool you with his abilities.

Coach DJ has also represented the National Tennis Team of Laos on many occasions and is now sharing his experiences and knowledge to the next generation of tennis players here in Laos.

Coach Khaek

Assistant Head Coach

If you want to meet a coach that truly lives, bleeds and breathes tennis, you have found the right guy. Coach Khaek is one of the longest serving coaches here in Laos and is always ready to hit the court at any time.

His smile and lively personality will guarantee you will always have an enjoyable time and a work-out at the same time.

Coach Da

Assistant Head Coach

Coach Da is one of the most versatile coaches of MITS Laos. Apart from his day-time job as a P.E. Lecturer at the National Sports Talent School in Vientiane, it hasn’t stopped Coach Da from coaching the sport he has a true passion for.

Coach Da is great example of a hard worker and has the results to show it. He is also a former National Team Tennis player, as well as the current National Games Champion for Men’s Doubles.

Coach Be

Coach Be packs a hell of a punch with her coaching, being the only active female tennis coach in Laos has not stopped her from choosing tennis coaching as her career of choice.

Coach Be has inspired many of our female athletes pursuing their dreams, making a positive impact for next wave of tennis players. Did you know Coach Be was also a Bronze medalist for Laos at the SEA Games in 2019?

Coach Kai

You will never catch Coach Kai without a big smile on his face. Coach Kai always provides a fun and entertaining approach to learning, making him MITS Laos’ specialist Blue and Red stage junior development coach.
